Questions

How long is an MMA round?

Five minutes, with one minute of rest between rounds.

Why are title fights five rounds?

Championship bouts and main events are scheduled for five rounds rather than three. The round length does not change.

Can I use this for grappling and striking rounds together?

Yes. Set the round to five minutes and leave it running through the class; the rest period is where the coach resets the drill.

Ask your coach to put this on the gym TV. It is free, it works on anything with a browser, and it runs on its own once it is up.

Gyms that want their own name, logo and colors on it instead of ours pay $99 once — no subscription, no per-screen fee. How that works →
